Gouache! beloved the world over by illustrators and designers, I haven’t used this stuff since art school. I’m thinking of using it for covers and splash illustrations in my comic so i’ve been doing some quick illustrations to practice using it (its a bit of a finicky medium)Over the next couple days i’ll be uploading some of them!  She’s a dooooornish dancer..dancer for moneyim on the last of the written books in the game of thrones seriesand tyrion kinda wont shut up about where the whores are goingsoooohere’s one! doornish, cause the women from that place are badass, i figure she’s a sand snake and a dancer in a troupe of travelling dornish players and that she uses her sex-wiles to get revenge for her fathers death! (seems to be pretty much the agenda of every sand snake ever)Goache and pencil and ink View high resolution

Studio times!Man I’ve been working down in my cave hole (its actually really rad but it is in a basement sooo) like 12 hrs a day for the last couple days. I’m actually starting to see a show shaping itself out of all the chaos, so i’mma keep at it and hopefully i wont flail and i’ll get it all done for the 15th. Im the worst procrastinator ever i swear, if i’m not under some crazy pressure i’ll probably be looking at internets instead of doing my work. Le sigh. anyways, heres a little sneak preview of some work in progress stuff for the show, all brown paper and paint pens and so much drawing. i really hope it all comes together, i have high hopes that it’ll look pretty cool when it happens so yeah the 15th hooo boy. Winter and springthis one measures 4.5x6, im doing a few of these small scale prints before i attempt the 8.5x11 krampus one, it takes some getting used to again to cut well and i want it to match the st nick one.  fun though, and should be good for cards this winter
