Alternate flat color version of the mermaid illustration, this took half the time and i might like it better, what do you think?
this one is colored entirely in illustrator and has been vectored (in which some of the line quality is lost but it colors so well this way..and i’m able to choose the color of the ink linework (dark sepia brown in this case) after the fact to match the colors i choose…
maybe a fusion of the two styles, non-vectored lines with flat colors? i think mostly what i prefer about it is the limited palette..
