Raven and the coyote moon an altered and original print version of my latest lino cut the cut measures 6x8 and is the largest I’ve attempted so far. time consuming but fun you’ll notice its an elaboration on the sketch I’ve already posted the moon I’ve added in this one is the jackal/or coyote moon. coyote is a trickster god much like raven in the native american stories. he/she stole the moon/sun/stars in many different legends& in several different forms depending on who’s telling the story here i have tried to portray the many aspects and faces of the trickster god
